Employee Satisfaction
EUROFIMA is constantly working on increasing the involvement and satisfaction of employees. An anonymous employee satisfaction survey conducted by Great Place to Work every other years (supplemented by a Pulse Check survey in the alternate years) is used as a mechanism to examine the experiences and expectations of our employees and serves as a tool to further shape our practices. Great Place to Work is a global authority on workplace culture and has been in this business for 30 years. Companies around the world trust them to conduct this standardised survey, which provides a useful benchmark for comparing organisations at industry and regional levels.
In the last survey, conducted in 2023, EUROFIMA managed to improve the Trust Index from 83% to 92% and Great Place to Work-Statement (overall satisfaction) from 83% to 91%. While this is an impressive result, EUROFIMA will continue to strengthen and further improve its cultural and organizational topics.
The Trust Index™ of Great Place to Work is an anonymous survey of all employees - including executives/management. It gives an objective view of the current state of employee satisfaction with the important factors in the workplace culture, enabling us to identify and develop strengths and potential. Thanks to the high responses rate, it provides a clear and accurate picture of the workplace culture. The questions of the Trust Index™ employee survey are divided into 5 dimensions: Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Camaraderie and Pride. The 5 dimensions are surveyed with a total of 73 questions, including 63 Statements on the experienced workplace culture, 2 multiple-choice questions on leadership effectiveness and innovation, 6 demographic questions (e.g. age, gender, years of service etc.), 2 open questions on the strengths and possible areas of improvement of the employer. The combination of this survey with other transparency measures such as the whistleblowing process, provide early indication of any misconduct and prevents any violations of the Code of Conduct (such as harassment or mobbing) might happen.
As a result of this supportive and engaging working environment created by all our employees, EUROFIMA was recognised in May 2024 as one of the "Best Workplaces™ in Switzerland 2024", ranking 6th in the "Very Small (20 - 49 employees)" category.
In October 2024, EUROFIMA has furthermore been recognised as one of the 20 Best Caring Workplaces of Switzerland. This is an acknowledgment that EUROFIMA is dedicated to the well-being of its employees, which is particularly characterised by a supportive working environment that prioritises the safety, mental health, work-life balance of its employees, and many more.
