EUROFIMA publishes its new Green Bond Allocation report for its outstanding Green Bonds

Since last allocation report of October 30th 2020 EUROFIMA issued another five green bonds: three SEK bonds in 2020 as EUROF 0.49% 27/11/2028 SEK 1’500 million, EUROF 0.2125% 03/12/2025 SEK 1’000 million, EUROF 0.10% 04/12/2024 SEK 550 million and two EUR bonds in 2021 as EUROF 0.50% 23.04/2041 EUR 250 million and EUROF 0.01% 23/06/2028 EUR 250 million.  

Since inception, a total of EUR 3’693 million green bonds net proceeds have been fully allocated to fund Electric Passanger Rail Transport Rolling Stock, as per EUROFIMA's Green Bond Framework.

The green bond net proceeds were used to finance Electrical Multiple Unit trains 54%, coaches for passenger transportation 15%, Locomotives 17% as well as High Speed trains 14%. The geographical allocation is as follows: 38% of all financing was for rolling stock in Switzerland, 27% in Italy, 27% in Spain, 4% in Belgium, 2% in Denmark and 2% in Luxembourg.
