EUROFIMA is proud to publish its Green Bonds Impact report 2021 in order to underpin its contribution to the Climate Change Mitigation. A total net proceeds of almost EUR 2.9 billion has been allocated to the member railways.  EUROFIMA financed Electric Passenger Rail Transport Rolling Stock as per its Allocation report and following its Green Bond Framework.

The loans provided by EUROFIMA financed 983 vehicles with zero CO2 emissions. This electrified rolling stock helps the railways to save annually 1’436’450 tons CO2 emissions, and 1’968 GWh of energy savings.
