Save the date: EUROFIMA Conference – Public Transport in Transition 20-21 October 2026 – Basel and Olten
As public transport markets evolve, so do the financing models behind the fleets that keep them moving.
To mark EUROFIMA’s 70th anniversary, we are pleased to invite representatives of public transport operators (private and public), private and public leasing companies / ROSCOS, public transport authorities and transport associations, rolling stock manufacturers, and public-sector decision-makers in ministries and regional governments to join a focused exchange on the future of rolling stock finance.
The conference will explore:
- Financing of regional, commuter and urban rolling stock
- National and Private ROSCO models, PSO tendering and liberalized market environments.
- Short term and platform-based financing approaches
- ECA backed structures and evolving EUROFIMA financing tools.
- The implications of sustainability, circular economy and asset lifecycle management to future fleet investment in urban, commuter and long-distance rolling stock.
Day 1 in Basel will combine conference sessions, a 70th anniversary moment, apero and dinner.
Day 2 will offer an optional technical programme in Olten.
