Eurofima's Board of Directors appoints new CEO

After the resignation of Alfred Buder as Chief Executive Officer of EUROFIMA the Board of Directors has decided to appoint Harry Müller, currently Chief Operating Officer of EUROFIMA as the new CEO as of 01. November 2020. With this decision the Board of Directors ensures continuity in the implementation of the new strategy that has been started with the change of EUROFIMA’s Statutes in October 2018. Harry Müller has served in his current position since January 2018 and has previously been on the Board of Directors of EUROFIMA from 2011 to 2018. Haldun Kuru, the CFO, will stay in his current position and assume additional responsibilities. EUROFIMA’s Management and the Board of Directors are looking forward to supporting the Railway shareholders in these challenging times and continue to execute on the growth-oriented strategy as started by Alfred Buder.

The Board of Directors thanks Alfred Buder for his commitment and dedication over the last three years as CEO of EUROFIMA and in his prior role as a member of the Board of Directors where he served from 2014 to 2017. Alfred was pivotal in defining and executing the new strategy aiming to reaffirm EUROFIMA’s role of the major financing partner of several European railways. We wish Alfred Buder all the best for both his professional and personal future.
