EUROFIMA is pleased to announce that it has concluded a new financing in the amount of EUR 6.5 million with Montenegrin railways Željeznicki prevoz Crne Gore (ZPCG) over 12 years.

On February 2nd, 2026, EUROFIMA disbursed this financing, which will be allocated to rolling stock modernisation and refurbishment projects in Montenegro.

For this transaction, an innovative insurance solution was developed with a renowned insurance company, enabling the full project volume to be reflected within the financing transaction. This structure enhances both the project’s risk-bearing capacity and the pricing towards the customer.

EUROFIMA is proud to have concluded this new transaction and to reaffirm its public mission in Montenegro by supporting the local community and regions with better connections, enlarging the mobility offer with a sustainable and green solution.
