EUROFIMA is pleased to announce its first long-term new financing of 2024, in the amount of EUR 114.35 million (7.8 years) with its Belgian shareholder SNCB.

On February the 9th 2024, EUROFIMA is disbursing these funds, which will be used to refinance 45 Class M6 passenger cars. The cars were originally financed in three tranches between January 2007 and January 2008, as brand-new vehicles, under a complex leasing structure, and have already been refinanced in 2018. The double-deck coaches are still quite modern, as they were set up to the latest technological standards in terms of comfort and digitalisation, at the time of the original financing. They are mainly utilised in the Belgian domestic market for intercity services.
