On July 5^th, the Climate Bond Initiative published the Climate Investment Opportunities: Climate-Aligned Bonds & Issuers Report for 2020. This report demonstrates a comprehensive analysis of unlabeled climate-aligned bonds market, i.e., bonds that are not explicitly labelled as green, social, or sustainable, but are categorized as bonds that support climate-aligned projects or activities.

Utilizing a thorough methodology, this research identified 420 climate-aligned issuers. Among those, EUROFIMA is the only supernational that was classified as such. According to this report, with EUR 8.8bn of climate-aligned bonds, EUROFIMA accounts for approximately 1% of the climate-aligned bonds universe for 2020 as a leading organization in the sustainable transportation sector.
