EUROFIMA’s operations focus on the provision of sustainable and responsible financing. Therefore, the majority of suppliers are service providers (e.g., consulting services, rating agencies, auditors, law firms, marketing agencies, etc.). As opposed to the providers of goods, the service providers are less prone to contributing to negative environmental impacts. In 2023, there have additionally defined guidelines to ensure that the procurement process follows a sustainable approach.

In January 2023, EUROFIMA conducted its first sustainability monitoring. The core suppliers were selected taking into account the orders placed in the three previous years 2020, 2021 and 2022. A total of 19 suppliers were selected for the sustainability monitoring. 3 had a Sustainalytics ESG score classified within a Low ESG Rating category. Out of the remaining, 13 suppliers filled in the questionnaire and 3 were evaluated based on publicly available data and their sustainability reports. All of the 16 suppliers satisfied at least 50% of EUROFIMA’s sustainability criteria.
